The week before I entered the hospital I was stressed with going through another operation and the IV that would be injected into my arm.
At 5:00 AM on the day of surgery, they moved me into the pre-surgery room for preps before surgery. After taking my blood pressure, pulse and temperature, a nurse came in and said good morning with a beautiful smile. As I saw this beautiful angel, a calm came over me. I was her first patient for the day. We talked and I answered her routine questions. She asked me what are your concerns? I told her my veins were rolling veins and I had a blue vein in my left arm. She quickly got up and turned my left hand over and said I am going to give you an IV in your hand. She told me she wanted to work in the operating room, but the sight of blood made her weak so she smiled and said it will be a quick IV. When the IV was completed, I asked her if she was a Christian. She looked at me for a while and said yes, I had a Divine intervention. I asked her if she could tell me about it? We locked eyes and she said that when she was young, God wasn’t important in her life.
At the age of 15 she had a severe injury in her back from playing sports and lived with severe pains until she was 29. She married before she was 28 and at the age of 29, she and her husband were run over in a motorcycle accident. Recovery took seven months and during the seven months of recovery she noticed her back was also healing. After she was completely healed from the motorcycle accident, she noticed her back was completely healed. She gave all the credit to God and called it a Divine Intervention. She is now living her faith everyday with God. Before she didn’t know God but now she wants to share her experience with everyone. She and her husband have a child and the picture of their child is on her uniform. She has it there so when people ask about the picture, she can tell them about her Divine Intervention. She tells the story with joy in her heart.
She told me in January 2026, she and her husband limited their phones to calls or text only for the month. It was a beautiful experience! I asked her if she saw the Olympics and she told me they didn’t use their TV that month also. I asked her how she got her news. She told me it was from people like me.
I asked her if I can tell her about a miracle in my life. I told her how God totally healed me from a stroke and how I failed to believe that God totally healed me. She listened to every word I said. I then said I want to tell you about my greatest miracle ever. It is about the Eucharist. She is a Baptist, by faith. She said I don’t know what you are talking about. The anesthesiologist came in and she had leave to see the next patient before we could finish talking. Before they took me into surgery she walked up to my door and waved to me. I was OK!
On the day of my stroke years ago they took me to the nearest hospital. They determined it was a stroke. That floor of the hospital was full, so they took me to the pregnancy floor and into a room. A beautiful angel was my nurse. Her inner beauty flowed through me. She was one of the most beautiful angel nurses that I have ever had. I was only there a short time before they moved me to a rehab center miles away at 5:00 in the morning.
I identify an angel as a person who is so beautiful inside that she radiates. I have only experienced a few in my life. She was one of them.
